El Representante de la Delegación de la Plataforma Unitaria para la Negociación, Stalin González precisó este miércoles que el Acuerdo Parcial firmado en México, permitirá recuperar la infraestructura de 1.000 escuelas.

En entrevista concedida a Circuito Onda, subrayó que este es un primer paso en favor de los venezolanos que permitirá, mediante la administración de los fondos por parte de la ONU ejecutar obras priorizadas por reconocidos técnicos venezolanos para mejorar el sistema eléctrico, el sistema de salud, rehabilitar entre 900 y mil escuelas, ampliar el Programa Mundial de Alimentos y atender a los afectados por las lluvias.

“Esto hay que verlo como un primer gran paso después de tantos años de diatriba, discusión y no ponerse de acuerdo. Seguimos trabajando arduamente en lograr que se cumpla la agenda dispuesta en el Memorando de Entendimiento, en la que hay además de temas sociales, temas políticos y económicos; garantías que buscan recuperar la democracia, vivir en libertad y dar un gran marco de acuerdo de convivencia política en democracia”.

En ese sentido, destacó que este logro no debe verse como algo aislado de las negociaciones anteriores.

“Es la continuidad de muchos intentos, solo que hoy sabemos cómo avanzar y no quedarnos atascados. Además a la Negociación le afecta todo lo que pasa en el entorno. Hoy tenemos una Comunidad Internacional muy atenta y dispuesta a dar incentivos, con una realidad energética distinta, una América Latina con una situación política diferente, dispuesta a ayudar a buscar soluciones constructivas que vayan más allá de la teoría de la presión que al final no funcionó».

«La guerra en Europa ha hecho que la Comunidad Internacional gire para tratar de sustituir los 10 millones de barriles de petróleo que ponía en el mercado Rusia. Venezuela no tiene la capacidad de poner esos 10 millones de barriles pero sí puede abastecer una parte del mercado. Ahora tenemos que lograr que esto, que es beneficioso para el país, se traduzca en libertades, en derechos y en estabilidad interna. Este panorama y la presión de la Comunidad Internacional ante este panorama sin duda, alentó a que se reactivaran las conversaciones de México y eso debemos aprovecharlo”.

Sobre las próximas reuniones, indicó que no puede revelar detalles, pero afirmó que condiciones para elecciones son parte de la agenda.

“No debemos creer que la elección presidencial va a resolverlo todo, pero sin duda es un tema esencial en la discusión en el que hay que lograr acuerdos, que incluyen el RE, la migración interna, la gran cantidad de jóvenes que no se han inscrito y también – algo inédito para Venezuela – la gran cantidad de voto en el exterior debido a la migración”.
