The creator of Bitcoin (BTC), Satoshi Nakamoto, will have a permanent presence in the city of Buenos Aires through a sculpture and other works of art, after the NGO Bitcoin Argentina announced the winners of the fifth edition of the B·Arte Prize.
The contest, which seeks to promote art and the community around the digital asset, held its awards gala within the framework of the 13th edition of LABITCONF 2025the leading Bitcoin conference in Latin America.
The central prize of this edition went to the sculpture category, which was awarded to the artists Ricardo & Celeste for their work «Somos Génesis». The proposal, in addition to ensuring the creators a prize of $2,000 in bitcoin, will be located in the Buenos Aires Innovation Park, as previously reported by NoticiasVE.
This space is designed for promote activities of entrepreneurs and researchers in science and technologywhich aligns the work with the development and technology vision of Bitcoin.
The sculpture category also recognized the project “Satoshi’s Fountain” by artist Sebastián Nill, which won second place and a prize of $500 in BTC.
Additionally, the categories of digital art and physical art were awarded, both inspired by the figure of Nakamoto. The artist Blas V. won in digital art, while Kathonejo was the winner in physical art. Both received a prize of $500 in BTC.
