18,000 points are back! The Ibex 35 marks a new historical high thanks to Sabadell and ACS

Spanish equities are smiling again, and nothing better than doing so thanks to the recovery of 18,000 points that returns today after the close of a complicated week on Friday, led by the presentation of bank results. And above all he does it in a big way, with new historical highs, the fourth of the month and the thirteenth of the year.

But what was going wrong on Friday has gone clearly better today, with the initial recovery of the large banks to a greater extent, which finally has transformed into widespread purchases.

A week that in Spain will hardly be marked by the results as in the case of Mapfre, but in Europe and the US, where in addition the macro data, especially delayed employment and inflation, will be a valuable treasure to take into account for investors.

The IBEX 35 closes the session with gains of 1.4% to 18,195.10 points with the increases of companies such as Banco Sabadell 5.53%, ACS 3.30% and Indra 3.22% and the falls experienced by values ​​​​such as Puig Brands B 1.03%, Redeia (REE) 0.53% and Enagás 0.52%.

Banco Sabadell among today’s protagonists despite the negative recommendations. For Morgan Stanleythe Catalan bank receives a cut in the target price to 3.45 euros per sharefrom the previous 3.65 euros. Despite this cut, the new valuation represents a upside potential of 10.9% compared to Friday’s close and 7.5% compared to the current price.

More pessimistic are the analysts of Barclayswhich cut Banco Sabadell’s target price to 3.20 euros per sharefrom the previous 3.30 euros. In this case the upside potential is barely and 2.89% compared to Friday’s close, while the current price has already exceeded this level.

In turn, Goldman Sachs raises Solaria’s target price, which goes from 22 euros to 22.50 euros.

Meanwhile, RBC considers Inditex one of its ‘top picks’ along with the British Next within the sector. Canadian bank analyst Richard Chamberlain analyzed pricing trends in the European fashion retail sector on Sunday. Consider that you bet on both values due to its potential for international growth and the transparency of its results.
