  • Giving or sharing your account violates the Terms of Use and may result in suspension of the service.

  • Any access request from third parties is a scam, the exchange explains.

Binance Latin America issued an official statement to remind its users that accounts on the exchange are strictly personal and non-transferable.

The warning responds to fraudulent advertisements circulating on social networks, especially in Venezuela, where money is offered in exchange for granting access to the platform.

The exchange stressed that sharing credentials violates its terms and may result in permanent suspension of the service.

In a message published this Monday on its official X account, Binance Latin America alerted the community about an increasingly common practice: scammers who contact users promising easy profits in exchange for “lending” or “renting” their Binance account.

The statement comes after the viralization of an ad on Facebook that promises “$40 USDT per hour” for renting a Binance account.

The image, full of platform logos, cryptocurrency graphics and golden coins, seeks to attract people in vulnerable economic situations with the false idea that they can generate passive income without risk. Binance clearly identified it as a scam.

«Your Binance account was created for you, and only you. Improper use of your account may result in the suspension or permanent cancellation of the service,» the text states.

The company recalled that, by accepting the Terms and Conditions, each user agrees to be solely responsible for all operations carried out from their profile and to protect their access credentials.

According to the company, a common tactic of fraudsters is to request login information or request that the account be “borrowed” under excuses such as “investment advice”, “technical management” or “operating help”. Binance emphasized that it will never request a third party to control the user’s account.

Binance recommended people always verify that communications come from official channels and, in case of suspicion of unauthorized access, immediately contact the exchange’s official support.

The message concludes with a direct call: “Protect your account.” This warning is part of the growing concern of cryptocurrency platforms about scams known as “account sharing” in Latin America, where the adoption of digital currencies is high, but also the vulnerability to digital fraud.

Binance reminded that users can consult the complete Terms and Conditions on its official website.
