Squirrel Media ensures its presence on TDT until 2040

Net TV, SA, Squirrel Media Sociedad has renewed its license from Terrestrial Digital Television (DTT) for a new period of 15 years. The decision adopted by the Council of Ministers has effects since June 11, 2025, in accordance with the resolution published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on June 2.

This decision represents a strategic milestone of great relevance for the Squirrel group, since it guarantees the operational continuity of Net TV in the Spanish audiovisual environment until 2040.

It also constitutes a key pillar for strengthen the long -term projection of the company in a constant transformation sectormarked by technological evolution, accentuated interest in high quality content and new habits of audiovisual consumption.

At the moment, Net TV is the third private television operator in Spainoperating two channels in open with national coverage: Squirrel and Paramount.

From its integration into the Squirrel Group in 2022, Net TV He has experienced a very positive evolution. In fiscal year 2024, the company reached a business figure of 26 million euros, with a EBIT of 7.2 million and a consolidated result of 6.0 million euros. These results reflect efficient management and value the strategic nature of their audiovisual assets, especially reinforced after the renewal of their license.

The renewal of the license strengthens the competitive positioning of the Squirrel Group in the field of entertainment, and supports its plan of expansion and diversification of the business.

In this sense, the division Networkintegrated within the global strategy of the group, is emerging as a key growth engine, by combining the presence in DTT with digital developments, new content formats and technological synergies with the other areas of the Squirrel group.
