Google is testing a new function in Chrome that will prevent videos in flour windows from Picture-in-Picure (PIP) to appear in screenshots or recordings made from the browser.
This means that if you use the capture tools of Chromeintegrated screenshot function or compatible extensions, PIP reproduced videos will not be shown in the capture. Currently, this option is in the experimental phase.
The measure coincides with the controversy generated by Windows Recall, which performs automatic catches of the activity on the computer if activated.
Recent reports have revealed that Recall can record sensitive information, such as passwords and credit card data, which has aroused concern about user privacy.
Although it is not yet known if this experimental function will be incorporated into the stable version of Chrome, to do so, Any video in PIP will be excluded from the catches, either using the native tools of the browser or compatible extensions.
Some applications and privacy -centered browsers already block by default that Windows recall captures its windows.
