According to data from The Motley FoolIntel’s quantum computing initiative is called Tunnel Falls. This silicon-based chip uses Intel’s most advanced manufacturing processes and is now available to the research community.
Intel has partnered with numerous government departments and universities to test the new quantum chip.
Although it is not the sector where Intel focuses its interest, if it obtains positive results it could become a potential business.
The Data Centers and Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) division in recovery
Intel continues to work on its main businesses such as division of Data Centers and Artificial Intelligence or DCAI. Although between 2021 y 2024 accused a drop in income of $22.7 billion to $12.8 billion respectively, in the last three quarters of 2025 has recovered by accumulating $12.1 billion. However, great competition continues to be a big step that the firm must overcome.
