Prosegur, the leading security company in the market, has announced that the next Thursday, December 4, the distribution of a gross dividend of 0.1593 euros per share will be carried out. This dividend will be paid from voluntary reserves and will represent a total disbursement of close to 87 million euros destined to remunerate its shareholders.
As reported by the company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the corresponding tax withholdings will be applied to the gross amounts paid in accordance with current regulations. The established calendar indicates that the last day of trading of the shares with the right to receive the dividend will be Monday, December 1. Starting Tuesday, December 2, inclusive, Prosegur securities will be listed without this right.
The process will continue on Wednesday December 3 with the settlement of the operations and the determination of the shareholders entitled to receive the dividend. Finally, the payment will be made on Thursday, December 4, through the entities participating in the Securities Registration, Compensation and Settlement Systems Management Company (Iberclear).
Regarding Prosegur’s financial results in the first nine months of the year, the company reported a net profit of 96 million euros. This figure represents an increase of 47.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Furthermore, the income of the security group during the period from January to September reached 3,672 million euroswhich represents an increase of 2.5% compared to the first three quarters of the previous year.
