50% potential and dividend in January for a battered Ibex 35 value in 2025

Cellnex is one of the ugly ducklings of the IBEX 35 in 2025, with a fall of 12.5% ​​that contrasts with the 48% rise that the selective recorded in the year. But fundamental analysts remain confident in its shares, with a medium and long-term bullish potential that is close to 50%.

According to data collected by Reuters, Cellnex is the Ibex 35 value that has the most potential on the Stock Marketwith an average target price of 40,03 euros what is 49.8% above of the current quote. The majority recommendation is ‘comprar‘. In fact, of the 21 analysis houses that cover the value, 14 give a ‘buy’ recommendation and even 7 a ‘strong buy’. In contrast, 4 analysts recommend ‘hold’ and only 3 advise ‘sell’.

It must also be taken into account that Cellnex will pay dividend in January. On the 15th of next month the company will pay a dividend from the share premium reserve for an amount of 250 million euros, which represents 0,37100958 euros for each action. Distribution charged to the share premium is not subject to withholding.

The last date on which the company’s shares will be traded with the right to receive this payment will be January 12, 2026.while on the 13th the securities will be listed ex date.

This dividend is part of the 1,000 million euros in shareholder remuneration until 2026 announced during the last presentation of results, of which 500 million will be dividends and the other 500, share repurchases. In this sense, it must be taken into account that, as a consequence of this dividend, Cellnex has suspended its share buyback program, the entity states in its statement to the regulator. It will resume next January 19once payment has been made.

Cellnex closed the first nine months of the year with losses of 263 million euros, 87% more than in the same period of the previous year, and a turnover of 2,937 million, 5.7% more proforma and (excluding Ireland and Austria).
