The Google search engine will debut a new touch of color, as seen in its latest preview version, a customization that will allow users modify the appearance of the top of the results page beyond what had been possible until now.
Traditionally, the customization options in the Google search engine were limited, basically toggling between light and dark modes. However, some users are already experimenting with a new feature that offers a complete visual wash to the results page.
The feature, called “Color Your Search,” is not only available on large-screen devices such as tablets and foldable phones, but also on conventional mobile phones.
When the feature is available, A color palette icon will appear in the upper left corner of the results page. When you press it, a menu with 10 color options is displayed.
The first maintains the default black and white scheme, while the other nine They present a range of pastel tones. This customization is simple and affects only the top of the page, adding a color accent that also modifies the Google logo.
Although the change is primarily aesthetic, it reflects Google’s effort to offer greater visual control to the user, making the search experience more personal and engaging. The company’s intention is not to alter the search functionality or introduce complex changes, but rather to offer a way to make the experience more pleasant and dynamic.
This development also indicates that Google continues to explore themes and customization options within its search ecosystem. For now, the tool is not available on desktop computers, and it is unknown if it will permanently reach all users.
With this feature, Google adds a deeper touch of personalization to the search experience, without affecting the core functionality of the search engine.
