What today are computer courses will soon have a radical turn, because in Russia, Hundreds of schools and tens of training centers will begin to teach drones. The Kremlin has incorporated this discipline into the educational plan, transforming technological teaching for thousands of students.

It should be noted that it is not a simple leap in educational innovation, but a step with a clear military background. The government itself has set the objective of training one million specialists in this field before 2030, so this project will become part of the military strategy gear.

A social militarization process promoted by Kremlin

More than 2,500 teachers have received training to teach non -manned aircraft. With them, the State ensures the expansion of the program throughout the country where, according to British intelligence, it is not a complementary subject, but a clear example of educational militarization.

And it is that since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Kremlin has sought to integrate war into different areas of civil life, the classrooms now join that logic. Young people not only learn mechanics or programming, but the use of devices that have a central role in the front.

In parallel, the Technical Training Centers prepare instructors that will serve as a basis for a national training network. It is not an isolated effort, but a project designed to last and mold the next generations under the idea that the country’s defense begins in school.

The Vladimir Putin government presents this program as an advance in technological education, but the border with military indoctrination is diffuse. When learning aims to reinforce the war capacity, the school ceases to be a neutral space.

It is important to mention that the student not only acquires knowledge, but also assumes a role within a national narrative in which the country must be in permanent combat disposition.

It is a double message, in which, The population is offered modernization and development, but the real background is the preparation of society to sustain a war. The training thus becomes propaganda, where the line between the student and the future soldier blurs.

Drones, a key piece of the Russian military future

The importance of drones on the battlefield is no longer discussed, and a clear example is in Moscow, which considers them decisive both to attack positions and to monitor and defend the entire territory.

Putin himself has announced the creation of a military branch dedicated exclusively to this type of aircraft, with the aim of enhancing its long -term capabilities.

The war in Ukraine has demonstrated to what extent these devices change the rules of the conflict, since they do not require large investments in front of a manned plane, reduce human risks and can adapt to multiple missions: from recognition to the direct attack.

Form pilots is only part of the plan, what Russia seeks is to generate a technological culture oriented to military useso that managing drones is not only a technical skill, but a patriotic value for all inhabitants.

If something has become clear in the last decade, it is called to become the most influential war artifact of the future. Their low cost, the ease of deployment, as well as the possibility of operating autonomously thanks to AI, place them in the center of the strategy.

Combined with AI models, drones can identify objectives, dodge defenses and execute attacks with precision that until recently seemed science fiction. Its use is not limited to the front, they also serve for logistics, recognition and border control.

Russia already has kamikaze drones

They are versatile, scalable and, above all, they dispense with human riskwhich makes them the ideal weapon of the wars of the future. Russia knows it and that is why it is committed to integrating them not only in their army, but also in its educational system, sowing from now on the basis of a generation trained to pilot and design them.

That Russia teach drones in more than 500 educational centers shows to what extent the conflict with Ukraine has transformed the country. What for other nations is a technological advance for civil purposes, in Moscow it becomes a war resource.
