CaixaBank has informed the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) that it has completed 57.25% of its sharing repurchase program in the tenth week, which has a maximum amount of 500 million euros.

In the tenth week of the program, CaixaBank acquired a total of 2,148,583 shares at a weighted average price of 8,7819 euros, which is equivalent to a disbursement close to 18.9 million euros. With this acquisition, the entity has recomposed a total of 37,090,142 shares in the first ten weeks, exceeding 268.2 million euros.

The Caixabank shares repurchase program, which is the sixth that the entity starts, was announced in January and began on June 16. Goldman Sachs is the manager of the program and has the autonomy to decide when to make the purchases of the titles.

Caixabank has established certain limitations in the repurchase process. For example, more than 25% of the average daily volume of the actions at the negotiation center can be acquired in a single day. The average daily volume is calculated based on the twenty days of negotiation prior to the date of each purchase. In addition, the program has a maximum duration of six months from its start.
