Amper is awarded strategic contracts in Mauritania for 12 million euros

Amper, through its Defense and National Security division, has managed to obtain two strategic contracts in Mauritania to promote the development of aeronautical communications technology, air navigation and airport modernization. These contracts represent a joint amount of approximately 12 million euros to the current change.

The projects awarded to Amper will have a significant impact on the improvement of critical services offered at Nouadhibou International Airport, which is the second most important airport in Mauritania. The company has informed the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) of the relevance of these initiatives.

The communications and air navigation contract, awarded to Amper by Enaire, the state air navigation manager, involves the supply in operational status of a ground-to-air communications center and a system for automatic and continuous transmission of essential flight data. This project, valued at 5.09 million euros, will play a crucial role in improving security and coverage in the FIR (Flight Information Region) airspace of the Canary Islands, a key area to optimize routes between Europe and South America.

On the other hand, the modernization contract, valued at 6.94 million euros and awarded by the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (Asecna), covers the comprehensive rehabilitation of the light aids, the energy production and distribution system, and the control network. These infrastructures are fundamental for airport operations and will contribute significantly to the efficiency and safety of airport operations.

With the achievement of these projects in Mauritania, Amper has reaffirmed its ability to deploy its own technology in highly demanding environments and to serve strategic clients within the Defense and National Security market. In this sector, air traffic plays a fundamental role, and Amper’s experience in developing innovative technological solutions reinforces its position as a reliable and competent partner in the field of aviation and airport security.

Amper shares rose 1.34% this Monday morning in the Continuous Market to reach 15.16 euro cents.
