«Buying Bitcoin at USD 110,000 is better than when your grandfather bought his house at USD 30,000»

  • Livingston is extremely critical of the Fíat system and argues that BTC is the ideal solution.

  • «Bitcoin is an emergency exit in a flame shopping center,» says the author.

With the phrase entitled to this note, published in the social network X on August 26, Adam Livingston turned on again the discussion about the true value of Bitcoin (BTC) in the middle of a financial system that he considers decadent. Even with a price in six figures, he argues that BTC is still cheap if what it represents in the face of money Fíat is understood and the destruction of purchasing power.

Livingston, author of ‘The Bitcoin Age and The Great Harvest’, is a fierce critic of current monetary policy. «Fíat money is Jonestown Kool-Aid, and every time the Fed gives a press conference you row for a new glass,» he wrote in a tweet. For the investor, Bitcoin is «the revolver that is locked when the high priests of the Fíat try to tighten the trigger», a brake on what describes as rituals of economic sacrifice.

In your vision, The current world is a flame shopping center. «Bitcoin is the only emergency exit in this shopping center of illusions that burns,» he says. This escape route does not depend on promises or faith, but on incorruptible and apolitical mathematics.

Livingston also links technology with the monetary debate. «Artificial intelligence should be the most deflationary force in the history of humanity … Each efficiency gain should mean cheaper goods, more free time and a more prosperous society. But we do not live in that world,» he warns. The reason, he explains, is that the coins are «chained to debt instead of productivity.» And sentence: «That is why you need Bitcoin: the only monetary system where productivity profits cannot be stolen from inflation.»

Nor does Sarcasm save when talking about the dollar. He compared it with «that member of the family that smokes methamphetamines in the garage but insists that it will be cleaned next year,» while the Federal Reserve gives it more lighters. «Bitcoin is rehabilitation,» he says.

In another publication he described that «each supermarket purchase is a hostage negotiation with inflation … The balance of your bank is a set of Truman Show. Fully false, a decoration for your obedience.»

Para Livingston, Even BTC yields should be measured in real, non -nominal terms in Fíat money. «Your profits with Bitcoin are false if you don’t overcome the money printer,» he warned. The important thing, as cryptootics reviewed last week, is not the number on the screen, but the purchasing power that is effectively gained against inflation and taxes. Nor does he accept the narrative of volatility: «Bitcoin is not volatile. This is a lie that the system told you … what if true volatility is all that surrounds you? Your work, your currency, your rent, your faith in a system sustained by loans of cars and antidepressants.»

In its extreme and satirical style, Livingston states that Humanity is going through a point of no return. «You are living: the death of the Fíat, the end of affordable housing, the implosion of pensions, the use of money as a weapon and the greatest transfer of wealth in history. History does not care if you are ready. Hyperbitcoinization will not ask twice.»

With this perspective, the comparison with the grandfather who bought a cheap house decades ago is not only a joke, but an alert call: The current system offers mirages, while Bitcoin appears as «the last exit before the slaughterhouse».
