During the CES 2025 Samsung has presented new features such as a couple of new high-end televisions and artificial intelligence in televisions, but they also bring an update to their range of laptops.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro and Galaxy 5 360 receive a major hardware upgrade with the latest Intel Arrow Lake processors, which qualifies them to be a Copilot+ team. The names are identical to those that were launched in September 2024. And it seems that the processor soft drink was not worthy of a new name.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro comes in two sizes, 14 and 16 inches, with 120 Hz AMOLED screens and 2,880 x 1,800 pixel resolution. The autonomy of the 16-inch model is up to 25 hours, while the 14-inch model is 21 hours due to the drastic change in battery size.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 360is a convertible laptop with a 15.6-inch AMOLED touch screen that you can rotate, capable of reaching up to 31 hours of autonomy.
Regarding specific artificial intelligence functions, it includes AI Selecta version practically identical to Google’s surround to search, but that uses the processor’s own AI to identify and Bing to display results.
Also includes Photo Remastera utility that allows you to retouch images and add focus to bad or old photographs, all using the power provided by the NPU of Intel processors.

Samsung will launch this update to its laptops throughout the first quarter of this year. In some European countries such as France or Germany they can be purchased starting in February.
