Cybercriminals are using the latest advances in artificial intelligence to try to scam a larger group of people, and telephone scams are the order of the day.

And criminals continue to use fraudulent phone calls to try to deceive many people, not only by posing as an agent from your own bank, but even as a person you know as a friend.

They achieve this beforehand with the duplicate of your phone’s SIM, so that they have access to your contacts.

But although this can have some control, with advances in artificial intelligence, voices are beginning to be cloned and cybercriminals could copy the voice of a relative of yours, and ask you in a call to pay them certain money.

This is how the tiktoker explains it Jesus Villegaswhich has published a recent video where it points out exactly how this new scam based on artificial intelligence works.

In the video, a supposed Ibai Llanos, with a similar voice, calls him asking for money.

Obviously it is an exaggerated example, but cybercriminals could do exactly this, clone the voice of a relative of yours who could call you on your mobile after having previously duplicated your SIM, and ask you for money.

The tiktoker points out that you should think of a type of secret word or phrase that the cybercriminal, on the other side, cannot know how to respond to and thus discover the scam.
