The company plans to invest another 100 million euros in buybacks in the next two years, in line with its purpose of increasing shareholder remuneration.

Executing its previously approved shareholder remuneration plan, eDO invested €32.6 million in share buybacks in the first half of the fiscal year.

Commercial activity

The acquisition of new customers has recently been affected by the increase in blockages by Ryanair. These blocks, which have not affected customer retention, have continued and intensified despite final rulings from higher courts in Europe confirming eDO’s right to distribute its content.

Consequently, the company adopts a conservative short-term forecast, expecting to add 600,000 new Prime members throughout fiscal year 2026.

New long-term strategy

Four years after presenting its inaugural strategy as a subscription company, in November 2021, and following its successful completion this year, eDO today presents to the market a new long-term strategic roadmap until 2030.

The plan calls for accelerated Prime member growth of 15-20% annually between FY28 and FY30, with the goal of surpassing 13 million members in 2030, from 7.7 million today. This growth target is 40% higher than the analyst consensus.
The strategy is supported by investments in product diversification (especially trains), accelerated international expansion and the deployment of new monthly and quarterly subscription options.

Dana Dunne, CEO of eDreams ODIGEO, commented: «We continue to demonstrate the power of our subscription platform, a truly unique proposition in the market, delivering significant growth and strengthening our business quarter after quarter. We already delight more than 7.7 million subscribers by offering them more value than any other travel platform, including unique flexibility features that drive engagement and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, our model is a proven success for our shareholders; Its strong and predictable cash generation has allowed us to deliver continued and significant shareholder remuneration, and we will continue to do so.

This proven track record of compliance and execution gives us a solid foundation to launch our next ambitious phase. The new long-term strategic roadmap we are launching today is a direct result of that success. It is designed to accelerate our growth, leveraging our strengths to scale our model to new products, markets and an even stronger future.»
