Google Photos was born in 2015 and has quickly established itself over other similar applications thanks to the possibility of backing up to the cloud and sharing photos. When these free features disappeared, most users did not abandon the app.
Those from Mountain View have been forced to continually renew themselves, and the latest innovation that Google Photos has brought takes the best of Spotify. The application will allow you to summarize the year in photographs, inspired by the famous Spotify Wrapped.
Google Photos will analyze the users’ gallery to make a summary of 2024 in photographs and videos. The app has a similar feature known as Memories, soon to be renamed Moments, but it doesn’t do a Spotify-style yearly overview.
The Photos AI tool will scan the gallery and group similar images and videos into collectionsbut also depending on the approximate location. Other Android gallery apps only display files in reverse chronological order.

Google Photos offers other relevant information with categories such as the most photographed colors this year or the person who appears in the most photographs in the gallery, among other data:
- “What do your photos say about you in 2024? Your vibes have been all about…”: Reveal your top 3 personalities.
