What news are you bringing this 2025?

Rent 4 has always been a bank very focused on investments and investors. The range of products that we have had has always been the highest in the market. Among the novelties for the retail investor I would say that the highlight is the increase in positions in ETF. Also international values that, it is not that we have brought more, is that there is much more demand for this type of products and it is where we are seeing the most growth right now. We also have derivatives, options, indices … But the vast majority of our clients are focused on international values and NFTS. And in the funds, we have the entire range of funds that remains what our clients buy the most.

With the volatility we are having in the market, are your clients rotating? Are you seeing any movement in recent weeks?

We are having high records and important increases in intermediation. Obviously there is a certain type of investor to which these falls worries, we are all concerned but there are those who see them as an opportunity and they are those who are entering now. The figures for the month of April are increasing in Spanish, European and American Variable Income. Despite the falls, in what we have been, the Spanish Variable Income is going well and in the European we have seen tickets. We have seen them above all in the United States and, even so, there are investors who are taking advantage of these falls to be able to enter, despite the fall of the dollar and that the currency effect goes against.

These falls hurt those who were invested. That said, he recently watched a video of Peter Lynch that talked about 10% fallen from average every two years and falls of 20% occurred, on average, every six years. With what this is relatively normal, although this does not mean that it does not hurt, and we are seeing since the beginning of April records of new clients and hiring record because people are seeing it as an opportunity.

You have been one of the first entities that have launched a cryptocurrency background. How is the world working with Trump?

The crypto are a long -term commitment, they are here to stay and it is, like everything, an asset that for years has gone well and others regular. The issue is in 5-10 years, the crypto ecosystem – not only Bitcoin but tokenization and other types of assets – is here to stay. Our fund has started slowly but right now it maintains positive profitability and will continue to grow. The rent of rent 4 is that this has come to stay and is an asset for the most active traders and assets.

Are you launching derived or quoted products? Are you seeing more activation by customers?

There is a very active customer that is the one that uses the entire range of our products. This investor has it easy with our offer of derivatives, options or warrants. There is another type of investor also active but that is much more focused on values and ETFs. In this segment we have many markets to invest in the Nordic countries and even in Asian markets although everything is very focused on the US, German or English market, where the product offer is wide enough for any investor that you want to invest. In the event that an investor wants something we don’t have, which is weird, we look for it.

For novel customers who want an easy investment, you have the Easy project, how is it evolving? What perspectives do you have for young people who want to start investing?

For the young client we have several projects. There are young people who have launched directly to derivatives and young people who go directly to crypts. We are working with the CNMV and we hope to go out soon with our crypto offer. And then there are other young people who want to start in this world and need simpler products, that are facilitating that entry and there we have the Easy plan that, while you think about it, you are invested in a background change of a profitability that is now in 2%. There are also the Easy portfolios that, if you are not interested or you do not want the background because it seems too conservative, with artificial intelligence they are investing in different products.

But the novel investor who wants to start not only to give simple products, but simple communication and easy content and there has historically been a generator of content and impressive training, and this helps people and customers to generate confidence and knowledge. I think there is a generational change – I feel especially through my daughters – and investment is no longer an option, it is an obligation for young people in the long term. Probably my generation and even the previous one was very focused on the deposit, on the remunerated account … in that fixed period. Securities markets are a bet that made rent 4 a long time ago, how to bring markets closer to the client and is even an EU commitment to the budding regulations.

Any advice for new investors where they have to position themselves in this volatile world?

If our best analysts are very prudent with this, I have to be more. That said, in the long term I believe that the greatest risk is not to be invested. At times like this you have to be invested in more conservative assets and, within the Variable Income in euros, there are super solid German insurers or small companies of the BME Growth that have another risk profile.

Probably now, after the IMF report on how Spain is less influenced by Trump’s theme, a market like Spanish in the short term has fewer risks than the technological one. I think it’s a good time to be invested, but make it advised. The advice is absolutely critical.
