To the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebashe does not miss a single one, and in one of his recent participations in a conference on audiovisual fraud in Buenos Aires, has directly accused one of the Real Madrid stars of consuming pirated content.

It happened during some events during the Champions League match between Liverpool and Real Madrid in which Vinicius Jr, star player of the white team, published a controversial story on Instagram.

Vinícius Júnior was not at Anfield due to injury, and uploaded a story to Instagram in which he was seen watching the game on television at home.

The problem, is that the Real Madrid player was watching the game through the Brazilian channel TNT Sports.

Javier Tebas has made it very clear that the Champions League It can only be followed legally in Spain through Movistar Televisionso he considers that the Brazilian Real Madrid player would have to be using a VPN or a directed satellite dish.

“If you are in Madrid, and I think you were in Madrid, it is piracy. Access to the content to watch the Champions League in Spain has to be through Movistar Television. To see that content you had to have a VPN, or a satellite dish aimed at somewhere else. There has to be active behavior going beyond the scope of Movistar. It has been reported that next time they should not pirate the game,” Relevo reports.

Javier Tebas has not missed the opportunity to send a letter to warn Real Madrid about this behavior, which is non-negotiable with regard to the fight against piracy.

In recent months, Javier Tebas and LaLiga have intensified their actions against pirate IPTVs that broadcast matches without having the rights.

IPTVs are unfortunately becoming associated with piracy, when they were really not born for that. Hackers are using IPTVs with illegal lists to offer this type of content without having the rights.
