However, that is something that could change before too long. At least that’s what one of the most authoritative voices on the matter believes. None other than Jensen Huang, the well-known CEO of Nvidia.
According to the businessman, the key is in OpenClaw, a new artificial intelligence project in which Huang seems to blindly believe. In fact, Nvidia itself has been one of its promoters. For the CEO of Nvidia, the fundamental difference with traditional chatbots lies in their ability to execute actions in the digital world in a proactive and coordinated manner. «It’s not just about generating text or content. OpenClaw can operate as an intelligent assistant that learns and acts on its own,» Huang said enthusiastically.
Comparisons with ChatGPT are, at least to some extent, understandable. While the OpenAI chatbot focuses primarily on generating reasonable and useful text, OpenClaw is designed rather to automate processes, integrate information from multiple sources and execute concrete actions. All this without the need for constant intervention.
These characteristics make OpenClaw a clear commitment to the automation of numerous tasks. For example, customer service for companies, project management, carrying out numerous different analyses, programming work, etc. Something that sounds fascinating, but also controversial. Especially because of the controversial moment in which AI finds itself right now.
From theory to practice
To put this project into practice, Nvidia has also presented NemoClaw, basically an enterprise version of OpenClaw that integrates advanced security and privacy measures. All of them designed for corporate clients. NemoClaw is supposed to allow companies to create custom AI agents that comply with data regulations and protect sensitive information.
Huang strongly emphasized that the combination of OpenClaw and NemoClaw represents a winning bet. He thinks that this way developers will be able to experiment and collaborate on the open version, while companies will be able to take advantage of the greater privacy for professional uses.
