The South Korean company LG continues to reinforce its commitment to its Smart TV as streaming game centers, perhaps with the idea of trying to reduce console and computer dependence.

However, in recent years LG has incorporated different services such as Stadia, in addition to free games and improvements in the Webos user interface. Now, with a new update, LG wants to take another step forward in its gaming ecosystem.

LG has just announced the latest version of the Gaming Portal which is available on LG Smart TV, as well as third -party televisions that use Webos 6.0 or higher, in more than 30 countries, including Spain.

This new portal offers access to both native webos games and streaming titles, playable with remote control or command.

Then we have the “play with command” function, which gives us access to platforms such as Amazon Luna and even Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

In addition, they announced an alliance with NVIDIA to offer compatibility with GeForce Now until 4K 120 Hz with HDR in its native application.

For its part, the portal includes rapid access to game accessories and the “recommended for you” tab, which connects the user with promotions and purchases.

Finally, thanks to the collaboration with Blacknut, users can access individual titles under subscription.

For those who prefer to play for free they have access to classic titles through play works and, according to LG, about 600 free games are already available.
