We have different browsers to choose from on the market, some more popular than others, but basically most of them tend to share characteristics.
However, Microsoft wants the Edge browser be completely unique, and for this they want to bring it closer and closer to PC gamers.
PC players usually have several monitors, one for the game and another open with a browser to consult strategies or talk with friends.
Now Microsoft Edge will offer players the ability to search for information without having to leave the game.
As Microsoft has announced, You can open the Edge browser through the Game Bar. As you well know, Game Bar is the nerve center for PC gamers.
You can invoke it in-game and use it to take screenshots, record videos, or check minimum requirements.
Now the Game Bar receives this implementation of the Edge browser which allows you to use it without having to change windows.
The Edge browser integration into Game Bar uses the same profile settings you have in the browser itself on Windows, so it will contain all the same settings and remember all the websites you’re logged into.
It will also detect which game you are playing and automatically load all the help. At the moment it is compatible with the following games:
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- Diablo IV
- Fortnite
- Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga
- League of Legends
- Minecraft
- Overwatch 2
- Roblox
- Valuing
You can even pin the Edge browser to the screen, thus keeping the window open even after you close the Game Bar.
