The results presented by CaixaBank on Friday of last week seem to have convinced the JP Morgan analysts, who have not only reiterated their recommendation of ‘overweight‘ for the stock, but they raise the price target from 12.50 to 13 euros.
This valuation of 13 euros per share represents a upside potential of 13.93% compared to yesterday’s close and 13.6% compared to the current price.
Today CaixaBank shares rise a moderate 0.21% at mid-morning to reach 11.435 euros on the IBEX 35, already exceeding the historical highs of 11.41 euros of yesterday’s Monday negotiation. The titles have accumulated an increase of 9.47% at the start of 2026, while in the last 12 months the increase is 97.4%.

It must be taken into account that JP Morgan was already one of the most optimistic analysis houses about CaixaBank’s stock market future before the improvement. According to data collected by Reutersthe analyst consensus is more cautious, with a majority recommendation of ‘keep‘ and a target price of 10,87 euros which is 5% below the current price.
CaixaBank achieved a net profit of 5,891 million euros in 2025, 1.8% more than in the previous year (5,787 million), “thanks to intense commercial dynamics, which favored strong business growth in a context of containment of interest rates, and to financial strength that was reinforced throughout the year,” as reported by the entity last Friday.
The bank also announced that next April it will pay a complementary cash dividend of 2,320 million eurosequivalent to 33.21 gross euro cents per share, charged to 2025 profits.
