According to Forbes, this system has been called Svod and works through satellite data and a set of algorithms that give it the ability to predict possible scenarios so soldiers can make decisions quick tactics in the moment.
Although it is not a technology focused on the evolution of unmanned aerial vehicles, they have an important role for the functioning of the Svod.
The AI analyzes the movements and patterns of the opponents in real time by watching what is happening from the drone cameras, also adding updateable satellite maps and intercepted radios.
These factors together are processed by the intelligent system to find solutions and display them on the screen of the device that the soldier has with himrevealing whether it is better to move, flank, shoot or retreat.
The idea of implementing this is that, during saturated combat, there is greater precision in the environments and the percentage of errors in the missions is reduced.
Nevertheless, Its effectiveness will depend on the stability of communications and development of sensors together with adaptive algorithms. Russia plans to deploy the Svod in April 2026, primarily deployed in Pokrovsk and other conflict zones.
