Special ingots reports a reduction in its benefits in the first half of 2025
The Special Linghesha company has reported a benefit before taxes of 251,000 euros at the close of the first semester of 2025, which represents a significant decrease compared to 1.76 million euros obtained in the same period of the previous year, as communicated to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Impact of the sector environment on the results
According to explanations provided by the company, this decrease in benefits is attributable to the complex environment that the automobile sector has faced, both at European level and in Spain. Despite these less favorable results, Special ingots reaffirms its confidence in the future of the business, highlighting its constant investment in the modernization of its plants. The company emphasizes that, although its facilities are not the largest, they are considered the best in its field.
Financial Performance of the First Semester
During the period between January and June 2025, The special bullion business figure reached 41.76 million euros, reflecting a 10.7% decrease compared to the same period of the previous year. On the other hand, the gross exploitation result (EBITDA) of the company stood at 3.79 million euros, which represents a 29.1% drop compared to 5.35 million accounted for in the first semester of 2024.
Adaptation to new market demands
The firm stressed that it has made modifications both in its foundry and machining lines, with the aim of diversifying the manufacture of parts, including those for electric, hybrid vehicles, and the light and heavy transport of goods. These changes have allowed them to attend to a significant increase in orders for the coming years.
In the words of the company: «We have important increases in orders for future years of parts for electric cars, hybrids and light and heavy transport of goods».
