The combination of this technology with the Edge Computing allows information to travel at a higher speed at a lower distance for it can be processed.

When the data is processed in locations close to the device that generates them, the amount of information to be sent to the cloud decreases, which causes network traffic and costs that are associated with the storage and transmission of data, thus reducing the dependence of cloud servers or data centers located thousands of kilometers. This translates into a greater ease of remote control and industrial machines, or the implementation of services where latency is fundamental, such as the realization of remote surgical operations, or the replica of digital twins of factories in other locations.

The Incorporation of the predictive AI to the 5G networks It is a technological improvement that allows to detect in advance the problems that may arise in manufacturing, discarding defective products before they are manufactured and carrying out predictive maintenance. This contributes to better decision making.
