In Cuba, bitcoin adoption has been growing steadily. During 2023, They carried out several educational programs in the country, such as those taught by Mi Primer Bitcoin, the Salvadoran organization, graduating numerous Cuban students, as NoticiasVE has reported.
The importance of countries in crisis like Cuba learning about BTC lies in the need for access to alternative financial options. In a context where the national economy faces restrictions, education about bitcoin and asset custody offers a path to financial independence and the protection of personal assets.
Adopting BTC can not only facilitate international transactions, but also promotes individual economic sovereignty in a system where traditional options may be limited or ineffective.
The Trezor Academy, by teaching these courses, seeks to strengthen the understanding of Bitcoin and its technology, providing tools so that individuals can take control of their finances in a safe and sovereign manner.
With the expectation of future editions, this entity and local organizations hope to continue expanding this knowledge, thus promoting financial inclusion and economic education on the island.
