Luke Dashjr proposes a method to protect Bitcoin from child pornography

In a private conversation shared in networks and filtered by a medium of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, Luke Dashjr explained a proposal to protect Bitcoin from the CSAM (child sexual abuse material). According to its messages, the mechanism would imply identifying «contaminated» transactions with CSAM once confirmed in old blocks, and then use ZK Proofs to demonstrate the validity of said transaction while hiding the sensitive content.

This verification, Dashjr detailed, would apply after the block is identified as problematic, what technically would constitute a hard bifurcation of the protocolalthough limited in their reach and consequences.
