2025 For Meliá Hotels it has been an exercise marked by a solid evolution and clear fulfillment of expectations. We have not detected signs of slowdown and the results have demonstrated it, with growth in revenue and RevPARespecially in Spain, one of our most robust markets. For us, this performance not only confirms the strength of the model, but also the relevance of the strategic decisions that we have promoted in recent years.

And if there is one area in which 2025 has been especially relevant, it has been, without a doubt, that of expansion. Throughout the year we have signed 40 new hotels, totaling almost 6,000 rooms, and we have opened 25 establishments in destinations that consolidate our global vocation. Thanks to this, we close the exercise with a portfolio of more than 450 hotels and 110,000 roomsstrengthening a solid foundation on which we will continue to accelerate our growth strategy in the coming years.

2026 It also emerges as aA key year for this push. We will open hotels in extraordinary and globally recognized destinations, such as Cusco, Crete, the Dolomites, Seychelles or Maldives; places that perfectly embody what we want to offer: unique, differentiated experiences deeply connected to well-being, gastronomy and lifestyle. At the same time, we will continue expanding our presence in strategic markets for us, such as the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Italy or Spain.

And we will experience especially significant milestones: the reopening of the Paradisus Cancun, the one of Paradisus Bali —our first Paradisus by Meliá in Asia— and that of the emblematic Gran Meliá Don Pepe, in Marbella. All of them have been transformed under the highest standards of contemporary luxury and unequivocally reflect our vocation to continue offering our clients the best possible experiences.

Our growth rests on a strategy consistent with the evolution of the industry: a increasingly solid brand portfolio —especially in the premium and luxury segments— and a flexible expansion modelsupported by management and franchise formulas that allow us to adapt to the needs of each member and each hotel owner. This flexibility is not just an operational decision; responds to a conviction deeply rooted in our identity as a family company: the importance of building relationships based on collaboration and trust.

In recent years, this vision has translated into strengthened alliances with top-level partners. From ADIA to Bankinter Investment, Banca March or Vinpearl, each of them has played a determining role in our growth rate. And they have done so at a particularly relevant time for the sector, in which the interest of funds and investors in hotel assets continues to grow and marks new competitive dynamics.

The reality is that The industry is experiencing a turning point in which “asset light” models and repositioning strategies have become the dominant trend.. And that is precisely where our vision fits naturally: combining an intelligent asset approach with an agile, flexible and long-term value-oriented operation.

Therefore, Meliá’s position is stronger than ever today. The healing of our balance sheet, the resilience demonstrated by our business and the success of our product repositioning strategy allow us to face 2026 with ambition. Our vision is clear: grow more, grow better and do it sustainably. Thus, 2026 will be a year of qualitative growth and new opportunities. And, above all, it will be a year to continue demonstrating that our company has the capacity, vision and energy necessary to lead the future of international hospitality.
